Learning Goals for Second Quarter
We continue working on our writing skills not only in story form but written response form as well for math, science, and social studies! We will be focusing on strategies with multiple digit multiplication and starting some long hand division. To do this we need to have mastered our multiplication facts! In grammar we will continue to explore usage with adverbs, adjectives, and articles as well as editing, and punctuation in order to strengthen our writing conventions! In science we will be moving into the Earth, rocks, and minerals. In Social Studies we continue to explore each region as well as learning where all the states are located. Reading we will be focusing more on literary elements: plot, setting, cause and effect, as well as summarizing and many more!
