HELLO

First Quarter is officially over! The students have worked hard and are gaining some wonderful life-long learning skills! The next nine weeks we will be focusing our attention on a more in-depth study of multiplication and division. I can not stress enough the importance of mastery of multiplication facts! Students have to have their multiplication facts memorized or they will in fact struggle tremendously this next quarter. You can obtain multiplication flash cards at the store and use them everynight to practice with your child. You can also make your own using a marker and notecards! Be sure if you make your own that you make them with the facts 0-12.

These next nine weeks will prove to be a fun and challenging quarter! Please make sure that homework is getting done and returned on time, students are at school on time, and assignment notebooks are signed every night! These  help students to stay focused in class, not fall behind, and be better prepared for each day of new learning experiences!
